A simplified life
A heartfelt step-by-step guide to discovering your own version of a simpler more intentional life, by Jessica Rose Williams.
“Jess’s book is a delight and joy to read. I devoured it in one day at the weekend! Not only is it beautifully designed, she provides so many great tips that you can implement right away. I loved the values piece especially and the digital declutter chapter. Highly recommend this book to anyone! Thanks Jess for bringing your gifts to the world!”

I created this eBook so I could share everything I’ve learned. This ebook and planner is everything I wish someone had handed me when I wanted to reduce overwhelm and re-centre my life, to reduce the chaos and make sense of it; so I could breathe, let go of what wasn’t adding value and welcome more of what does.
“I couldn’t put it down. It’s wonderful! As soon as I saw what the first chapter was I couldn’t stop grinning, I had actually only googled the day before ‘what are my values’. I have been on a minimalist journey myself over the past couple of years, It’s been a slow journey and I’ve hit a few walls and now I understand why, I knew I needed to declutter the non physical aspects of my life but I have been struggling to do so and I know this book is going to help me so much. Your blog and simple letters have helped me incredibly over the past 18 months and so when I saw that you were releasing this book I knew I had to read it and I’m so glad that I have.”

In this eBook
A simplified life is a 160 page eBook designed to help you create your own story of a simpler life. Split into topical chapters, it will hold your hand through the systems I’ve put in place to ensure my life remains simple and help you figure out your own version of those. It covers the most impactful areas we can make changes: our values, diaries and how we manage our time, finances, relationships, digital life, work and planning.
I’ve created a tailored method as opposed to the usual one size fits all formulas and the ebook can be worked through at your own pace. It’s peppered with creative exercises as well as more hands on guidance. I’ve designed it to help reduce overwhelm whilst holding space for you to go deeper into what a simpler more meaningful life not only looks and feels like for you, but also how you can make the changes that come up throughout the process.
When we try and fit someone else’s formula into our lives it doesn’t always work out. Of course it doesn’t. I wanted to create a guide where I could share everything I’ve learned about simplifying life but in a way that can be tweaked to fit your life, because that’s the whole point. This is all about you, your life and your story.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different to your other eBooks?
Whilst my other two ebooks focused on either your wardrobe or home and interiors, this book is focused on the complexities of life. It covers the areas I believe simplicity can have the most impact which are our time, work, relationships, finances, digital lives and our values.
What would you classify as a simplified life?
A simplified life is more of a feeling than an entity. Day to day life feels less overwhelming and stressful, more meaningful, joyful and true to who we are. Our schedules don’t overwhelm us or burn us out, our finances are robust to cope with unexpected life events, our friendships and relationships are both rock solid and fulfilling, we’re able to focus on following our dreams, we know what we value and what we don’t and as a result we’re able to say no to more so we can yes to what truly matters to us.
Do you touch on transitioning from a job to working for yourself?
This isn’t a specific guide for making such a huge transition, however from personal experience implementing the changes I guide you through in this book have only helped my own transition. Knowing what my values are, simplifying my diary, finances and planning process have had a huge impact on my ability to build a meaningful business of my own and reduce overwhelm throughout.
Is a simplified life available as a real life print copy?
I would love these books to be available in print one day, however for now they are only available to download and print out if you wish.
Do you have a way to gauge the quality of friendships you keep?
Yes, I guide you through this process in the relationships chapter of the book. We only have so much emotional energy to give the essential connections we need to make our lives meaningful so it makes sense to only give ourselves to those who we spark with and truly give themselves back.
Is the work section for me if I have a 9-5 as opposed to my own business?
Yes. I have worked for myself for over 5 years now but I worked in lots of 9-5s before that. I’ve written the entire book with both the self-employed and the employed in mind so it can be applied to anyone’s situation.
